Peking Garden: Reviews & Ratings

I've been coming here for many years. I'm a truck driver for Decker. I stop in whenever I come to Fort Dodge. I recommend coming at lunch when everything is fresh. Also recommend coming as they change to dinner. They make sure everything is fresh and full. My favorites are the chicken on a stick, jalapeno chicken, steamed shrimp and the hot & sour soup. If something runs out just ask them and they will make it fresh. You will need to keep an eye out because they don't come to tell you at your table. I asked for chicken on a stick one time and they didn't tell me and by the time I got back up, there was only one left. A large man left one and took the rest about 7. The rule of thumb is to take 1-2 at a time it's just common courtesy so others may have a chance to taste too. I stay alert now lol.

We go about once a month. We have only had a bad experience once. Food is usually always good, hot, fresh and with good options. The kids like it as well.

The food was good this time and fresh. If you’re going to go and eat here, I would recommend going during the dinner hour even though it’s a little bit busier guaranteed the food won’t be sitting on the warmer all day.

Most of the food was great we went at dinner time so it was all fresh and everything has its own flavor unlike alot of small Chinese places where everything tastes the same I will say the sweet and sour chicken was not good due to already having the sauce on it service was great I would recommend this place

1/16/24 4pm Been to many restaurants, this is the cleanest we have been to in a very long time. Keep up the great work in that department I'm obsessed with the green beans. My favorite Chinese place in a hot minute. Usually don't tip much but our hostess was extremely friendly, quick to clear our plates and wasn't one to be sitting on her phone, blowing off the customers like you see so many doing. Shoutout to you, ma'am ....I respect you a lot. All in all, a great return visit.
